How to Plan Mischief With Childrens Fancy Dress

A  fancy dress costume is a big deal to a kid. Children want to look cool and have fun with their costume all at the same time. Especially at Halloween, you are looking for a child's costume that, depending on your preference, may be ghostly or sweet. Kids are all about fairytales, so dressing a little girl up as Little Bo Peep will make her feel special and feminine.  However, as with all the best kids' fun, mischief must be had! So to start with, tell her to go up to every little boy she sees and bah like a sheep. Before long, she'll be rolling around giggling and annoying smelly boys!

With little boys, revenge can be had by dressing up as the Grim Reaper and telling the little girls that they are kings of the underworld and they need new minions. Dressing up a little boy as a traffic cop is a great way for some mischief with grown-ups and the family. You can tell him that he has the power to arrest people, and then watch how many people he tries to take to jail. What a surprise it will be when the victims find that there is no prison! Being behind bars will take on a whole new meaning!

Picking children's fancy dress allows you to go crazy with your imagination. Kids love characters, of course. So rather than dressing your child up as a lion, dress him up as Harry Potter. Before you know it, he'll be casting spells on everyone he meets. So how exactly do you let kids have fun with this? Tell them to play the personality of the character they're dressed as. You may have to be careful though that he doesn't start skipping math class for Herbology.

If your child is dressed as Superman or Batman, more mischief is certain to be at hand.

Dress your child as their favorite superhero, and then they can roam the neighborhood protecting cats from dangerous flowers and other such heroic deeds.  You can tell them to do everything they can to play the part of their favourite hero, whether it's running around or making the whacky sound effects. Say things that character says, and tell them to demand the neighbours pay attention to them. This is definitely something that you can get involved in; after all, fancy dress isn't just for kids, so dress up yourself. Pick out an outrageous costume and join in.

With you in fancy dress then there's nothing stopping you from joining in in any mischief to be had. Together you can make loads of noise as well as running around and chasing each other. If your neighbours liked you before, however, that relationship may suddenly have changed!  

For a bit more mayhem, you could dress up the boys in Star Wars and Fighters costumes. Then unleash them to play with other kids. As the boys fly in in attack formation, the poor girls will run screaming,  which is all fun and games so long as Little Bo Peep will be able to find her sheep once the Death Star is destroyed.

Lastly, no one knows mischief like the class clown. All schools have class clowns so if you are dressing up your child for a special occasion at school, dress him or her up as a clown. Give the child a mallet or nose that squeaks. Every time the teacher writes something on the chalkboard, have your little one make noises with their nose or squeaker mallet. We just have to hope that the teacher sees the funny side.
